Simple to Install.   

Install Sensor to bottom of tank via any access port.

Level Link Control box (waterproof) remain on the tank in the elements.

Pre-Requistes:
1.  Mains Power at Water-tank.  Level link comes with DC Adapter & 10metres of low voltage cable and can be extended further with an extension cable.
2.  Wifi network at site of Level Link Box.   Whilst can report via bluetooth current level, most of the advanced functionality is lost when BLE only connection
3.  Ability to place Sensor on bottom of tank via any access port.  Alternatively 30mm Hole can be drilled/cut but rarely required.

  • 3 Pre-Requistes for Install
    Mains Power Close, Wifi Network at site of Box, and access to bottom of tank via hole/port/access. 
    (and Apple iOS device, as Android App not currently available)
  • Why are there 2 models 0-2 metres and 0-3 metres Level Link Devices
    To maximise accuracy there are 2 models of Level Link.  The most accurate device is the 0 - 2 metres one, however this maxes out at 2metres of water and will not read any level value over 2 metres.  Below 2 metres it works fine.
    The 0 - 3 metres devices reads 0 - 3 metres of water level with a marginally reduced accuracy.

    Which one is best for me?
    If you maximum tank height is close to 2 metres then you should get the 0 -2 metre model. 
    Many decide on this model even with 2.5m or 3 m maximum height tanks, whilst if the tank is 2.2 metres full the max reading will be 2 metres, most interest lies when running below 1/2 a tank full and running low states.

  • How to set up the App?
    Download and install the App from Apple App Store.

  • What are the App Features? 
    The app is the main way to review your current Tank.  It has a multitude of features, a number of which require a subscription to access the server based analysis and alert system.  

    Show usage events up to 50 litres of water, showers etc.
    Review Gains: Water collection >50 Litres reported
    Alerts for abnormal usage within a 4 hour period.
    Daily summary for current Level and overnight usage
    Server Regression Analysis for Water usage and predictions of running out data, enable you to time you water deliveries with plenty of warning. 
    Remote monitoring of current Levels offsite.
    Remote monitoring of multiple Level Link Tanks 
    Monitor remote, elderly family members remote Water levels and organize top up as required.

  • Why a App Subscription? 
    A number of reasons particularly, primarily cost. 
    The Server side of analysis and alerting of usage events is ongoing and hourly, and has a ongoing cost associated with providing this service.     More users will equal more cost, both from data storage but also network bandwidth and CPU cycles for analysis/alerting.
    The aim of the Level Link hardware device inital release is to minimise the hardware cost as much as possible,  so this subscription facilitates this.
